About the Author
Peter Allan Verkruyse has served in local church staff ministries and has taught at Lincoln Christian College, Danville Area Community College, Millikin University, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Kentucky Christian College. He now is a member of the Speech Communication Association, the Religious Speech Communication Association, the International Society for the History of Rhetoric, and the Academy of Homiletics. Peter is the author of Religious Communication Association's 2006 Book of the Year: Prophet, Pastor and Patriarch: The Rhetorical Leadership of Alexander Campbell (University of Alabama Press, 2005).
