 Each year thousands of writers attempt to get their books accepted by publishers. We have hundreds of inquiries here at College Press, but all publishers have finite budgets and must turn down many projects. Self-publishing can be the answer for many authors. Through our Publishing Services Department we offer to you our experience and know-how in producing books. These services are separate from our traditional publishing
works.
OUR PUBLISHING SERVICES INCLUDE:
- Copyediting for grammar, consistency, punctuation, etc.
- Content editing for style and word flow
- Proofreading
- Typesetting, layout
- Professional cover design
- Image scanning
- Quality printing
HOW PUBLISHING SERVICES WORK:
- Call, write, or email and we will discuss your project with you. When we have reached an understanding of exactly what you would like to accomplish, we will prepare a quote tailored to your book. There is no obligation.
- When you return your signed estimate, we will begin your project. We ask for 50% of the estimate as a deposit and the remainder when the book is completed.
- The editorial/typesetting and cover design process occur simultaneously. Your approval is required after each level of your book's development.
- Self-published books will NOT be published under the College Press or
HeartSpring imprint.
