A Place To Serve $11.99
Author: Waddell, Don
Pages: 160
Date Of Publication:
Product Number: 870

The statistics are staggering. Thom Rainer in High Expectations found that if members of a church only attend worship services, only 16% will still be attending in five years. If however they become an active part of a Sunday School, that percentage goes up to 83%.

Southeast Christian Church does not claim to have all the answers, and this is not a magic book of formulas, plans, programs, or gimmicks. Rather it defines a process toward inviting people to an intimate relationship with God.

Don Waddell's book, Making Your Church a Place to Serve, describes the process of fully assimilating new members into your congregation so they become contributing members instead of spectators.

The full title provides the setting: Making your church a place to serve – involving members the Southeast way. A step-by-step process Southeast Christian Church uses to assist seekers from their first visit to become connected, involved, maturing, multiplying members of the Body.

The book logically segments the 16 chapters into three parts: · The background of Southeast’s new member assimilation · Making your church a place to grow – evangelism · Making your church a place to serve – involvement.

With the CD (sold separately) you have years of experience, millions of prayers and an army of servants combined into a guide to assist your spiritual success. The CD has 31 replicas of Southeast’s invitations, letters, phone scripts, lessons and task descriptions to assist you in inviting people to an intimate relationship with God. No magic, no gimmicks – just people reaching people.

You can find the CD here.
